Psychological Resilience in NZ RNs Survey and Interview Data

The primary aim of this project is to investigate the impact of workplace factors on resilience among registered nurses in New Zealand. The secondary objectives include: (1) examining the relationship between workplace factors and burnout in NZ registered nurses, and (2) exploring the relationship between workplace factors and psychological distress in NZ registered nurses. Phase one will involve conducting an online survey using a simple random sample of registered nurses who are members of the New Zealand Nurses Organisation (NZNO). Phase two will utilise online qualitative interviews via Zoom to capture nurses' understandings and experiences of resilience in the workplace.
