We used single-cell RNA sequencing to profile the mouse coronal suture at E15.5 and E17.5 and describe multiple types of ectocranial, suture, and meningeal cell types (PMID: 34376651). We used single-cell RNA and single-nuclei ATAC sequencing to profile cranial neural crest derivatives in the zebrafish head at 7 stages from embryos to adults. We identify a number of differentiated cell types and various progenitor subtypes that change from the embryo to adult. A manuscript describing this study in under revision at Nature Communications.
