fecal cultivation supplemented with nervine herbs

We sequenced fecal cultures of control (no carbohydrate) compared to cultures supplemented with 10 different nervine herbs. The goal of the project was to determine whether these herbs had modulatory effects on the fecal community. We applied metabolic reconstruction and co-occurence analysis to enhance the biological and functional interpretation of the 16S rDNA sequence data.
