Post-collapse laser scans of Tunstall ROC monitoring post (Friday 23 January)
收藏资源简介:
This dataset documents the post-collapse condition of Tunstall Royal Observation Corps Monitoring Post. The survey was conducted using a Trimble TX8, and the site was surveyed on Friday 23 January 2026 from nine scan positions. Scan positions were undertaken on both the beach (n = 6) and cliff top (n = 3). The scans were aligned, merged, clipped and converted to .laz (ver. 1.4) format in Trimble Business Centre (ver. 5.80). The file names refer to the targeted 'minimum point spacing' when subsampling the original point cloud. The point spacing, in reality exceeds this. Should the full cloud be needed, please contact the author. The full dataset is ~6GB (~795 million points) This dataset is comprehensively described in a data note currently submitted for review in Discover Hazards (Springer-Nature).
