Human lung cancer cell lines (CBX100). unidentified

The lung carcinoma is the most common human malignancy and intractable. Lung carcinomas are generally classified into four histopathological types, adenocarcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, large-cell carcinoma and small-cell carcinoma. Comparative molecular biological characterizations of these four types were not sufficiently accumulated. We characterized the four histopathological types by gene expression profiling of 8 human lung cancer cell lines using a custom made microarray.
