Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler measurements for selected streamgages on the Illinois, Mississippi, and Missouri Rivers, 2008-2025

This data release includes raw data files (.mmt, .PD0, GPS.txt) from routine discharge measurements at the following U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) streamgage sites: Mississippi River at Clinton, IA [USGS 05420500], Illinois River at Valley City, IL [USGS 05586100], Missouri River at Nebraska City, NE [USGS 06807000], Missouri River at Hermann, MO [USGS 06934500], and Mississippi River at St. Louis, MO [USGS 07010000]. These measurements were acquired using Teledyne RD Instruments (TRDI) Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCP).
The accompanying TRDI_ADCP_Measurements_2008-2025.zip file contains five folders, each corresponding to a streamgage site. Each site folder contains subfolders with raw ADCP data files organized by the site’s National Water Information System (NWIS) measurement number, a summary file in comma separated values (csv) file format, and a README.txt that describes the contents in more detail.
