To uncover the underlying causes of cellular senescence observed in 2-month-old DKO mice, expression profiling microarrays were used to analyze gene expression in the cortex and basal forebrain of 2-month-old DKO mice and control mice. Total RNA was isolated from the basal forebrain and cerebral cortex of three 2-month-old control (Con) mice and three 2-month-old double knockout (DKO) mice. Gene expression profiling was conducted using the Agilent SurePrint G3 Mouse Gene Expression v2 8x60K Microarray (Design ID: 074809) at OE Biotech Co., Ltd. (Shanghai, China).
