VPRS 5110 Insolvency Court Applications To Register As Insolvency Trustees

This series contains applications from those persons who wished to be appointed as a Trustee by the creditors of a declared insolvent under the Insolvency Acts. Such registrations were made under Section 17 of the Insolvency Act 1897, (subsequently Section 74 of the 1915 Act). Once appointed, the applicant was able to be appointed as a Trustee by any Insolvency Court throughout the State.Courts of Insolvency were also required to create and maintain, if necessary, a Register of Trustees for those persons who had applied to be registered as qualified to be appointed to the office of trustee.
