Photographs of / taken by Henry Morton. Top left and middle left picture groups of Royal Air Force aircraftsmen in the 1918 pattern uniform, with Spanish servicemen (aircraftsmen?). Bottom left shows Henry Morton in the plastron fronted ('maternity') jacket of the Royal Flying Corps, with embroidered shoulder titles. Bottom right shows Henry Morton in ordinary Service Dress. Middle right shows Herbert Morton wearing the 1918 pattern Royal Air Force uniform.
George Henry Herbert Morton has no medal card in the Nation Archives records, suggesting that he went overseas too late to qualify for the War or Victory Medals. He seems to have been attached to the staff of the British Air Attache in Madrid, Lt. Col. Sandy.
