The growing maturity of natural language processing (NLP) technologies and resources is drastically transforming the landscape of numerous application domains that rely on large-scale analysis of unstructured data. Finance, which depends on the interpretation of multiple unstructured and structured data sources and the demand for rapid and comprehensive decision-making, has become a primary foundation for experiments on NLP, web mining, and information retrieval (IR) technologies. This challenge focuses on advancing the state-of-the-art technologies for aspect-based sentiment analysis and opinion-based question answering in the financial domain.
