This dataset was automatically generated through a Python program written by the author, based on the ITTC-1957 framework. The primary objective is to establish a structured mapping between hull form parameters, ship speed, and total resistance, covering the typical design space of bulk carriers to support model training with sufficient sample size and diversity.The generation process follows a systematic parameter sampling strategy. The ship length L is uniformly sampled from 150 m to 300 m with 50 values. The breadth B ranges from 20 m to 50 m with 50 values, subject to the geometric constraint L/8 < B < L/5. The draft T ranges from 8 m to 18 m with 50 values, constrained by B/2.5 < T < B/2. The block coefficient C_B ranges from 0.70 to 0.85 with 50 values, constrained by 0.7 + L/3000 < C_B < 0.85. The ship speed V ranges from 10 knots to 20 knots at 2-knot intervals, producing 6 operating conditions from harbor maneuvering to cruising and maximum speeds.After applying all constraints, a total of 328,495 valid hull form samples are generated, each paired with resistance values computed via the ITTC-1957 procedure. The dataset is provided in two Excel files: one containing hull form parameters and the other containing the corresponding total resistance values at each speed point.
