ASKAP Data Products for Project AS101 (ASKAP Pilot Survey for EMU): derived data products

This collection contains post-processed image and catalog data products from the first pilot survey of the Evolutionary Map of the Universe. These data are a combination of 10 separate 36-beam ASKAP Stokes I continuum observations at 944 MHz. All 360 single-beam pilot images were smoothed to a common 18" resolution and re-mosaicked to form a single large image covering approximately 270 square degrees. Images EMU_PS_IMAGE.taylor.0.fits and EMU_PS_IMAGE.taylor.1.fits are the 18" restored images for the zeroth and first order terms in the multi-frequency clean Taylor series. The image EMU_PS_IMAGE_UNSMOOTH.taylor.0.fits was made without smoothing each beam to a common resolution and therefore the restoring beam varies with position from about 11-16". The Selavy source finder was run on the large 18" resolution mosaic to produce the resulting component catalog. Each component in the selavy radio catalog was then crossmatched to CATWISE 2020, after which the CATWISE positions were matched to DES DR1 and with photometric redshift catalogs DESI and WISExSuperCOSMOS\nLineage: 9287, 9325, 9351, 9410, 9434, 9437, 9442, 9501, 10083, 10635
