Drug development based on RNA technology platforms

The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic is a serious worldwide public health emergency. In response to global public health challenges, scientists around the world have developed COVID-19 vaccines using multiple techniques. Messenger RNA (mRNA) technology platforms-based vaccines have triggered a revolution in medicine. In this review, we summarize the technical principles, development challenges, applications and prospects of mRNA technology platforms.
