Bacterial infection in ACLF patients

Bacterial infection is an important risk factor for the occurrence and development of chronic acute liver failure (ACLF). Bacterial infection significantly exacerbates the severity and clinical course of ACLF, resulting in a significantly higher mortality rate in ACLF patients with bacterial infection compared to those without bacterial infection. Here, we recorded baseline data, survival status, microbiological data, and antibiotic use of ACLF infected patients.
