Bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) is a viral pathogen posing a major threat to the global cattle industry. BVDV infection can interfere with the host's innate and adaptive immunity, affecting multiple organs and systems of the body. Understanding the biological process of viruses in in-fecting hosts is crucial for disease prevention and control. At present, the molecular mechanism of cell signaling pathways affected by BVDV infection is still unclear. Transcriptome and proteome are potential tools for analyzing the biological process of virus-infected host cells. In this study, transcriptome and proteome were used to analyze differential proteins and differential genes in immune-related biological processes after BVDV-1 infection of cow PBMCs.
