Covid Chronicles: ‘It made a big difference'

The 'Better Welcome to Swansea Project' was developed by Swansea City of Sanctuary and Swansea Council for Voluntary Services. The project has a positive impact on Asylum seekers. So much so that a beneficiary who is self-employed and has since moved away reports how much she misses the support she experienced in Swansea. This material is part of the Covid Chronicles from the Margins project, funded by The Open University and the International Institute of Social Studies in the Hague. The project aims to highlight the impact of the pandemic on refugees, asylum seekers and undocumented migrants.
