The dataset contains measured plant ecophysiologic parameters from molecular (ABA), via cell (stomatal conductance), organ (leaf water potential measured noon and pre-dawn) as well as stand (evapotranspiration) level for five different wheat varieties from a total of three wheat species.The ecophysiologic parameters describe the plants response to a fully crossed gradient of gravimetric water content (GWC) and vapour pressure deficit (VPD) which were experimentally manipulated using a pot experiment in climate chambers.For methodological details of measurement procedure, experimental set-up as well as (and in especial) for results, please see the respective publication: Berauer et al.
