Structure-based design of potent and selective inhibitors of the HECT ligase NEDD4

In this study, we elucidated the mode of action of a class of drugs as NEDD4 inhibitors. These first-in-class NEDD4 inhibitors demonstrated exceptional specificity and selectivity, leaving the other family members unaffected.
