Changes in Apartment Maintenance Cost Components During the First 24 Months: A 60-Complex Study in South Korea This dataset examines changes in selected apartment maintenance cost components during the first 24 months following the officially recorded completion dates of 60 apartment complexes in South Korea. The study uses 24,480 source observations collected through the Korean public apartment management cost API (K-apt), covering 60 apartment complexes, 24 consecutive months per complex, and 17 reported categories. For each complex, the analysis compares the mean of months 1–3 with the mean of months 22–24. The median percentage changes across eligible complexes were: Labor costs: +1.93% (n=50) Cleaning costs: +2.24% (n=50) Security costs: +1.86% (n=47) The dataset includes source data, derived analytical tables, methodological documentation, reproducibility scripts, and validation records. Limitations: The sample is non-random and should not be interpreted as nationally representative. These figures are medians of complex-level percentage changes, not increases in total apartment maintenance fees. The analysis does not establish causality or continuous monthly growth. Absolute monetary units of the selected API fields have not been independently confirmed.
