资源简介:
The study aims to investigate the regulatory role of the PACAP/PAC1 signaling pathway in the development of bladder inflammation and dysfunction, specifically in the context of cystitis. Cystitis, characterized by inflammation of the bladder, often leads to significant pain and urinary dysfunction. Understanding the mechanisms underlying this condition is crucial for developing targeted therapeutic interventions. By using a rat model, this research explores how the activation of PACAP (pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide) and its receptor PAC1 influences the inflammatory cascade, potentially leading to bladder dysfunction. The findings could provide new insights into therapeutic strategies to alleviate symptoms in patients suffering from chronic cystitis and related bladder disorders, thus enhancing patient outcomes and quality of life.
