To probe potential switches in transcript usage induced by TGF-beta signalling within endometrium, we treated the THESC (hTERT-immortalized Human Endometrial Stromal Cells) cell line with TGF-beta during in vitro decidualization and monitored transcript-level changes using Nanopore long-read sequencing allowing unambiguous determination of transcript isoforms. Overall design: To investigate the changes of RNA expression profile, particularly on transcript switch usage induced by TGF-beta treatment within endometrium, we treated the THESC cell line with hormone to induce in vitro decidualization, with or without TGF-b during the process. We then performed transcript expression profile analysis using the data obtained by nanopore long read sequencing, to compare the transcript usage under difference conditions (DMSO, TGF-beta, TGF-beta plus MEK inhibitor, or MEK inhibitor only) Gene expression profile obtained from Illumina short read sequencing was used as a reference on gene level
