资源简介:
This dataset comes from the study “A Comparative Investigation of Catecholamines and Glucocorticoids Impact on Glioblastoma Invasive Behavior via 2D and 3D Cell Culture.”It includes data from experiments using U87-MG glioblastoma cells treated with epinephrine (200 nM, 2 μM) and hydrocortisone (500 nM, 5 μM) for four days. The goal was to examine how stress hormones influence cell invasion, stiffness, and epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) markers. The dataset contains Bio-AFM data (raw .nid files and extracted parameters), flow cytometry data (.fcs files), and microscopy data (raw images and quantified measurements). All experiments were performed on U87-MG cells under identical culture conditions. The results show that epinephrine increased glioblastoma invasiveness by reducing cell stiffness and elevating vimentin levels, while hydrocortisone made cells stiffer and less migratory, despite a similar rise in vimentin expression.
