A detailed Proteomic map of the mechanical disease vector Musca domestica adult flies

In the present study, we have mapped the global proteome of the adult stage of the mechanical disease vector M. domestica. Our study resulted in identification of 3,615 proteins from both the male and female stages of M. domestica. Our study provides the first large scale proteomic map of the common housefly M. domestica.
