Evaluation of immunostimulating effects of mineral heat ware in pig

Thermal condition is an important envrionment factor to produce healthy pig. A mineral heat ware, RAVI is a regenerative far-infrared heating system. The purpose of this sutyd was to evaluate immunostimulating effects in pigs when RAVI was applied to maintain thermal condition compared with gasoline heater. Twenty of six-week-old waened pigs were raised in two rooms, each equipped with a gasoline heater and a mineral heat ware for 8 weeks. Two weeks after the stocking, the porcine atropic thinitis vaccine was administered and microarray analysis was performed using the whole blood RNA collected form pigs at 2 weeks, 4 weeks, and 8 weeks post vaccination.
