Data for: REBEn 2024-0485: Comparison between two methods of cleaning and disinfection of digital pulse oximeters in primary care

Data is in CSV format and express results of Microbiological culture (expressed in colony forming units) and adenosine triphosphate (ATP) assay (expressed in relative light units) results obtained from oximeters inoculated with Salmonella typhimurium, Staphylococcus aureus or Escherichia coli: after water and detergent followed by 70% ethanol (alcohol); after one-step disinfectant based on benzalkonium chloride and polyhexamethylene biguanide hydrochloride (PHMB); and no cleaning and disinfection (control). To evaluate the duration of both methods, we cleaned and disinfected 60 devices (30 per technique), in batches of 10 oximeters, to ensure routine processing conditions. We registered the duration of the procedure from the beginning of cleaning and disinfection of the first device until the end of the process of the last device of each batch.
