资源简介:
This is the data from the paper "A slow limit: Extensive motor training can not overcome a limit on the production of slow and smooth motion" by Noy, van der Wel and Friedman, 2024 The folder "results" contains the raw data collected from the tablet (the .csv files) where column 1 is the x (left-right) data analyzed in the paper. Column 6 contains the time. The subfolders slowLearning and taichi correspond to the results from Experiment 1 and 2 respectively The file experiment1_filelist.csv identifies which trial corresponds to which participant, day and trialThe file experiment2_filelist.csv identifies which trial corrrespons to which participant, trial and their group The folder "stimuli" contains the stimuli (which were shown at 60 Hz), 1 line per frame. Each line describes the x-y position of the ellipse The slowLearning and taichi folders contain .mat files with the processed data tablet_pixels.mat contains the resampled data and stimuli registrationTablet.mat contains the registration (to match the data to the stimuli, used for the error calculations) ampfreq.mat contains the error measures and submovement counts, by subject / trial The directory csv contains the JASP analysis for the Bayesian repeated measures ANOVA (the tables are found in the supplementary material) To run the matlab files: first run startup.m Then, the matlab file makeGraphs generates the graphs from the paper If you have any questions about the data or analysis, please contact Prof. Jason Friedman, Tel Aviv University: jason@tauex.tau.ac.il
