This dataset includes macro data such as the number of green patent applications, big data comprehensive experimental zones, per capita GDP, year-end financial institution loan balances, and scientific expenditures from 265 cities from 2008 to 2022, to test the impact of experimental zone construction on green technology innovation. Among them, the number of green patent applications comes from the China National Intellectual Property Administration. The big data comprehensive experimental zone is approved by the National Development and Reform Commission and other departments through letters. The remaining data comes from the China Urban Statistical Yearbook, provincial and municipal statistical yearbooks, and government official websites. In order to investigate the impact of the construction of the big data comprehensive experimental zone on green technology innovation, the above dataset was used, which is panel data interpolated from the original missing data. The price data in it was adjusted based on the 2007 consumer price index of each province. Please refer to the paper for specific data naming rules.
