Mixing Array CTD Line Mooring, Mississippi Bight, Fall 2015

Five line moorings were deployed and collected data for approximately one month in fall 2015. The line moorings were instrumented with conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) and temperature sensors to collect time series of temperature, salinity, and pressure at discrete depths in the water column. Temperature data were collected at 5 m intervals in depth or finer, salinity was collected at 10 m intervals or finer, and pressure was collected at at least two depth levels. Line Moorings also had chi-pods to measure time series of temperature, chi, speed, and dissipation at a specific depth level in high temporal resolution. Data were collected 2015-11-03 - 2015-11-30.
