资源简介:
Multi-hazard intensity fields for Galveston Island used as input to the multi-hazard damage assessment in the companion paper by Amini et al. (2025). The collection includes ADCIRC+SWAN simulated rasters for both the 100-year (1% AEP) and 500-year (0.2% AEP) return-period storm events, providing maximum flood depth, flood duration, peak wave period, significant wave height, water surface elevation, water velocity, wave direction, and 3-second gust wind velocity. Additional rasters supply FEMA 1% and 0.2% AEP flood-depth grids. Vector data include FEMA National Flood Hazard Layer static Base Flood Elevation (BFE) polygons and the modified NOAA Continually Updated Shoreline Product (CUSP) line used to constrain hazard processing. A high-resolution LiDAR-based topographic DEM for Galveston Island supports first-floor elevation extraction and water-depth-above-ground calculations. All rasters and shapefiles are georeferenced to WGS 1984 (EPSG:4326). Together, these fields enable per-asset retrieval of hazard intensity measures for buildings, utility poles, roadway segments, and bridges.
