A draft genome of Streptomyces tendae UTMC 3329 isolated from a tea field in Lahijan, Iran, was obtained. The draft genome is 8,653,184 bp, containing 7557 predicted coding sequences (CDS). Several secondary metabolite biosynthetic gene clusters (BGCs) are also present encoding lantibiotics, polyketides, non-ribosomal peptides (NRPs), etc. This is the first whole genomic data on Streptomyces tendae and WGS data has not been yet published for any strain of this taxon so far.
