DNA sequences from micronuclei formed in mouse 2-cell embryos

Micronuclei generated in the embryos of 2-cell stage mice, produced by ICSI using freeze-dried sperm, were analyzed to determine the origin of the chromosomes contained within them, whether from sperm or oocyte genomes. Micromanipulators were utilized to sample micronuclei, and DNA was subsequently amplified from each individual micronucleus using whole genome amplification technology.
