Time-series 16S rRNA gene sequencing of microbial communities during mineral bioleaching

This project investigates the temporal dynamics of microbial community structure during pyrite bioleaching. Microbial samples were collected at different time points throughout the bioleaching process.The V3-V4 region of the 16S rRNA gene was amplified and sequenced to characterize taxonomic composition and microbial succession patterns over time.These data provide insights into microbial community assembly, iron and sulfur cycling-associated taxa, and ecological succession during pyrite oxidation and bioleaching processes.
