The purpose of the Stock Book (Physical Education and Sports Equipment) was to keep a record of items of such equipment supplied to the school by the Department of Education or acquired from other sources, and of their expenditure and replenishment from year to year. Maintenance of the record was the responsibility of the Principal.The volume is divided into columns, of which the first in each opening is pre-printed with an alphabetical list of the various items of sporting and athletic equipment which might be supplied to the school, and the others record details of successive stock-takes. Each column is further subdivided to record acquisitions since the previous stock-take, items written off as deficient or unserviceable, and the final tally of stock in hand.This volume records the details of a stock-take conducted at the school on the 25th September, 1969. possibly carried out in preparation for the school's closure.
