CHALLENGE-2: Invertebrates marine debris

Several species of benthic invertebrates (Cnemidocarpa verrucosa, Laternula elliptica, Molgula pedunculata, Eknocucunus stainani, Brachiopoda sp.) have been collected from 8 different locations. At the Livingston JCI BAE, an experiment has been carried out with two different species (Cnemidocarpa verrucosa and Yoldia eighthsii) administering different types of plastic to see if they ingest microplastics or not.
