Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU), NHERI 2023: Considerations for Social Vulnerability Indices in Hazard and Disaster Research

This project details the construction of a CONVERGE Extreme Series check sheet on consideration for the application of social vulnerability indices. This project can be used to inform the construction of other check sheets or other guides. This check sheet hoped to address the lack of an accessible, introductory guide to social vulnerability indices in research. This project is targeted towards emerging hazard and disaster researchers.
