Peroxide stress response in Myxococcus xanthus

The project uses RNA-seq analysis to compare a peroxiredoxin ahpC (MXAN_1564) deletion mutant with the wild-type strain. Separately, a strain with the endogenous copy of a gene encoding a regulatory protein, MXAN_1565, deleted that can express a constitutively active, truncated MXAN_1565 Flag-tagged mutant from a vanillate-inducible promoter is analyzed with and without 0.005 mM vanillate induction using RNA-seq.
