Predictors of the probability of an observation being an ‘end-of-haulout’ observation were assessed compared to predictors consistent with ‘middle-of-haulout’ observations. Odds ratios are the relative odds of a seal being hauled out for one value of the covariate vs. another value [47]. Numbers in parentheses for vessel predictors are numbers of vessels.
