Bacterioplankton from Lake Tovel: do space and time matter?. TOVEL01

1. Temporal and spatial dynamics of bacterioplankton are rarely investigated at multiplesites for multiple years, limiting our understanding of the variability ofbacterioplankton community composition (BCC).2. Here, we assessed the spatial and temporal BCC of Lake Tovel (monthly sampling ofthree sites from April 2014 to May 2017: one in the shallow basin (B4) and two in thedeep basin - upper 0-20 m (A20) layer and deep 30-35 m (A35) layer) by sequencingthe V3–V4 hypervariable region of the 16S rRNA gene with the MiSeq Illuminaplatform.
