Part of a major inter-institutional program of study of the Southern Oceans, specifically of the western boundary currents of the South Atlantic. Work on this leg will consist of CTD sections between 24 and 38 degrees south to examine the north-to-south increase in transport of the Brazil Current, and various aspects of the underlying deep western boundary current structure.
