Theporousaluminum,alsonamedopen-cellaluminumfoamwasfabricatedbytheinfiltratingprocess.The details of thepreparationprocesshavebeengiveninourpreviousexperiment. Toimprovethebondingbetweenaluminumstrutandepoxyresin,thesurfaceofporousaluminumwas pretreated inacetonefor2 min.Then,thesamplewassoakedfor60 sinthesilanecouplingagent(KH550) solution. Therawmaterialsforpreparingepoxyresin(EP)includebisphenol-Aepoxyresin,defoamingagentand aliphatic amine.Theliquidbisphenol-Aepoxyresinwasstirred.Then,thedefoamingagentwasaddedintothe dilute resin. Afterwards, thealiphaticaminewasaddedunderalownegativepressure. Theliquiddilutemixturewaspouredintotheporousaluminumwiththeassistantofultrasonicvibrationto maintainacompleteinfiltration.Afterwards,thecuringprocesswascarriedunderalownegativepressureto removetheairbubblefromthematerials.
