The dataset contains gene sequences of single-copy prokaryotic marker genes from 197 termite and 1 Cryptocercus gut metagenomes. It also includes marker gene sequences of microbes from the GTDB ver95 database.
The fasta header contains the termite name(host)__proteinID__microbial_taxonomy
These sequences were used to generate the microbial gene trees analyzed in the manuscript.
