This consumer research report was commissioned by Preventive Health South Australia (PHSA) in 2024 and prepared by Houd Research Group (HRG). It synthesises data from 62 survey responders (23 current smokers, 36 ex-smokers) and 46 interview participants (26 current smokers, 20 ex-smokers) to gain end user insights intended to enhance quit service experience and effectiveness in South Australia. For both survey and interview participants, around 86% had tried to quit in the past.
