An IL-33–LMO4 axis instructs type 2 myelopoiesis via GATA factor re-allocation (BMT LMO4 ATAC-Seq)

In this study we examine the role of LMO4 and it regulation by helminth infection in type 2 myelopoiesis. The effect of LMO4 on type 2 myeloid progenitors is examined by RNAseq and ATACseq, as well as functional readouts, to establish the mechanism by which LMO4 carries out its lineage instructive effect. Overall design: LMO4 was introduced into murine HSPCs by lentiviral transduction and cells transplanted into recipient mice. After engraftment, progenitor cell populations were isolated by cell sorting and subjected to bulk ATACseq.
