The specific objective of the project is to analyze the resistome in municipal wastewater and in the river at different distances from the city upstream and downstream to assess the role of the anthropogenic factor in the spread of resistance and the rivers ability to self-cleaning due to the natural elimination of microbiota of anthropogenic origin.
