SEED(SJTU Emotion EEG Dataset)

The Seed dataset contains EEG and eye-tracking data from 12 participants, alongside EEG data collected from an additional 3 participants. All data were acquired while the participants were watching movie clips, which were meticulously selected to elicit three distinct emotional categories: positive, negative, and neutral. The SJTU Emotion EEG Dataset ("SEED") is a collection of EEG datasets developed and provided by the BCMI Laboratory, led by Professor Bao-Liang Lu. The name "SEED" was inherited from the first version of the dataset, but the current iteration not only includes emotion-related data but also provides a vigilance dataset. As of October 2021, the cumulative number of applications for utilizing the Seed dataset and the total number of associated research institutions have exceeded 2,600 and 770, respectively.
