Flood extents and maximum flood maps for flood events of May 2003, Dec 2007, Nov-Dec 2008, May 2010, and Dec 2014, based on a time series of EO SAR data and optical data.
The satellite imagery used, and validation and accuracy measures vary by flood event. Please consult the resources for details from respective flood events.
This dataset is one of the products produced under the 2014-2016 World Bank (WBG) - European Space Agency (ESA) partnership, and is published in the partnership report: Earth Observation for Sustainable Development, June 2016.
