COVID-19 Arabic Tweets Dataset was developed by the Center for Artificial Intelligence Innovation and Development, Mecca, Umm Al-Qura University, with the aim of researching social issues related to COVID-19. The dataset has been collected since January 1, 2020, and currently contains over 3.93 million Arabic tweets. It includes comprehensive information such as tweet ID, username, hashtags, and geolocation. During the dataset construction process, the research team collected data by tracking COVID-19-related keywords via the Twitter API. This dataset is primarily utilized to analyze the behaviors and information dissemination patterns of Arabic-speaking users during the pandemic, providing valuable social perspective analysis resources for policymakers and researchers.
