Large scale transcriptome analysis of high-temperature seedling-plant resistance to Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici in wheat revealed a non-race-specific resistance

Stripe rust, caused by Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici (Pst), is a destructive disease of wheat worldwide. Previous studies showed that the resistance of wheat cv. XY 6 against Pst belongs to high-temperature seedling-plant (HTSP) resistance which is non-race specific and durable. But its underlying mechanism is complex and not fully understood.
