The International Social Survey Programme (ISSP) is a cross-national social survey database. Co-founded in 1984 by Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States, it currently has 45 member countries and mainly collects social science research data from standardized questionnaire surveys. This database covers multiple social science topics including family, gender, work, political attitudes and national identity, and all data are provided free of charge.
