Genome of Biomphalaria glabrata embryonic (Bge) cell line

The genome of a subculture of the Bge cell line (maintained in the lab of TP Yoshino) was sequenced to complement the release of the Biomphalaria glabrata BB02 reference genome and to establish a public resource for other labs maintaining their own Bge cell line subcultures. Genomic sequence and structural variation was assessed by comparing the Bge3 genomic reads with the B. glabrata BB02 reference.
